Five Ten GALILEO Climbing Shoe

The new 5.10 ONYXX is SSSticky, and the combination of the laterally stable mid sole and soft fore-and-aft flex turns micro-edges into bivy ledges. I’ve blissfully worn it on all types of climbing from cracks, to Eldo micro-edging, to slab, to long alpine routes, and bouldering. If I was stuck on a desert island for eternity (albeit a very rocky island), and had to pick one shoe to climb in for everything, this would be it. I can only hope that said desert island would not be inhabited by cliff-dwelling monkeys that spit and throw things at you because they envy your cool shoes. - DONNY B
